about
Psalm 46:10 "Be still, and know that I am God."
My heart felt heavy. The world has painted a picture of God our Father, that isn't anything like Him. I know that picture. For the most of my life that was a picture I used to look at until God, by His grace and mercy, brought it down.
"I've seen the picture that the world has painted Thee.
I ain't impressed. It ain't a thing that my Father be."

LYRICS
I'm sitting singing Psalms,
46:10 is what I'm on.
What does it mean to be still,
and know that You are God?
I know You breathed out stars
and You called for the light to come.
And I know that it's dust that I am,
but Your breath, my spirits from.
I've seen the picture, that the world has painted Thee.
I ain't impressed, it ain't a thing that my Father be.
I've seen the picture, that the world has painted Thee.
I ain't impressed, it ain't a thing that my Father be.
So majestic in Your splendor,
so mysterious in Your ways.
O Lord my savior,
so matchless in Your grace.
We don't understand Your love,
we're a world full of wicked ways.
But through all our weakness,
I see signs of Your glorious face.
I've seen the picture, that the world has painted Thee.
I ain't impressed, it ain't a thing that my Father be.
I've seen the picture, that the world has painted Thee.
I ain't impressed, it ain't a thing that my Father be.
